OVERVIEW

The Odyssey follows Odysseus on a perilous decade-long voyage home from the Trojan War, with gods, monsters, and political intrigue awaiting him, while his wife Penelope and son Telemachus fend off dangerous suitors in Ithaca. Worth watching for Nolan’s ambitious storytelling, striking visuals, Ludwig Göransson’s evocative score, and standout performances by Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, and Robert Pattinson. Critics praise its epic scale, visual craftsmanship, and strong ensemble, though some note underdeveloped side characters.
